San Diego enjoys a perfect climate of warm, dry, and sunny weather, with some of the finest beaches in the United States. It's a vibrant, diverse and sophisticated city with all of the benefits a modern metropolis has to offer. San Diego is the second largest city in California with a population of nearly 1.3 million. There are diverse neighborhoods, including the Gaslamp Quarter, Little Italy, and La Jolla, offering a great variety to the visitor. Transport around the city is easy thanks to an integrated system of trams, trains and buses.

Explore Balboa Park, which hosts a number of museums as well as the world-famous San Diego Zoo. Take a day cruise on the Pacific Ocean from the impressive marina, or spend a day at Wild Animal Park.

San Diego's location near the southern border of California allows for easy access into Mexico. Trolleys run frequently from San Diego to Tijuana, making day trips a convenient option. Other regional areas of interest include Los Angeles and Disneyland (only 2 hours away by car), Las Vegas, the Grand Canyon, and Joshua Tree National Park.

Our school is located in the historic Old Town district of the city, a safe and friendly area, filled with a colorful array of shops, restaurants, gardens and picnic areas.

Old Town Transit Center, just fifty meters from the school, is served by buses, trains and the overland metro (trolley) that take you to downtown in five minutes or to fashionable La Jolla in thirty minutes.

The main beaches of San Diego are all easily accessible by public transport from the school. The school offers free parking for those students who rent or buy a car.

The school is housed in comfortable, air-conditioned premises fully equipped with multimedia center, library and student common room. Computer access is provided for free. We also offer wireless (WI-FI) internet connection.

A varied mix of social, cultural and sporting activities are organized weekly. Our highly experienced and trained teachers and our truly international mix of students will help you achieve the most from your stay.
